Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the VEP platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VEP provides AI-powered virtual employees that assist businesses with customer support, sales, marketing, and other tasks. AI employees are automated systems, not human workers. All interactions with AI employees are clearly disclosed as AI-generated.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

4. AI-Generated Output

AI employees generate responses using machine learning models. Outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and approving AI-generated content before it reaches your customers. VEP is not liable for decisions made based on AI output.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal activities or to violate others' rights
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access other tenants' data
• Use AI employees to impersonate real humans without disclosure
• Send spam or unsolicited communications through AI employees
• Use the Service to generate harmful, discriminatory, or deceptive content
• Exceed usage limits or attempt to circumvent billing

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service, including knowledge, documents, and conversation data. VEP does not use your data to train models for other customers. Data is isolated per tenant using row-level security.

7. Billing and Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis for the current billing period.

8. Free Trial

The free trial provides access to all features for 14 days with 1 AI employee. No credit card is required. After the trial, your AI employee is paused but data is preserved for 90 days.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. VEP may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will provide data export for 30 days, after which data is permanently deleted.

10. Limitation of Liability

VEP is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VEP's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. VEP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify VEP against claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
